| Former Net Model Monica Leigh has become the March 2006 Playboy Playmate of the Month. Originally from Suffolk county Monica is the second model from Long Island to become a Playmate. Last year Rachel Culkin, also from Suffolk, became the April 2005 Playboy Playmate of the month. Monica started out as a model for Net Model Mgmt. in Huntington Station. After doing several swimsiut modeling shoots and being told by friends and photographers that she had the look of a playmate, Monica decided to take the next step. She sent in some photos and was invited to try out at a local casting when Playboy came to the New York area. Monica's first appearence in the magazine was December 2005 as she was voted CyberGirl of the Month. She later went on to become a featured model and March 2006 Playmate of the Month. Monica received $25,000 for her centerfold layout and now is eligable to become the $100,000 Playmate of the year.
